Federation of Chakan Industries Honors Brave Pimpri Chinchwad Police Officers for Exceptional Service
Chakan, 13th March 2025: The Federation of Chakan Industries (FCI) honored Dr. Shivaji Pawar, Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) and Prasanna Jarhad, Assistant Police Inspector (API), Chakan Police Station, for their remarkable bravery in fighting off robbers despite being injured.
The felicitation ceremony took place at Gabriel India Ltd, Kuruli, and was attended by leading industry figures, including Shivhari Halan, President of FCI; Rajendra Tapadia, MD of Safe Pack; and Sandeep Belsare, President of Pimpri Chinchwad Small Scale Industries Association. Also present were Police Inspector Nitin Gite (Mahalunge Police Station) and Police Inspector Pramod Wagh (Chakan Police Station).
During the event, Rajendra Tapadia presented awards to the officers, which included a pagdi and shawl, in recognition of their courage and dedication to maintaining law and order.
Speaking at the event, Dr. Pawar expressed gratitude to FCI for its support and urged industries to contribute through CSR funds for constructing the Mahalunge police station. He also requested assistance in installing CCTV cameras at entry and exit points of the industrial area and in providing employment opportunities to the children of police personnel.
Additionally, Police Inspector Nitin Gite provided insights into the new Bharatiya Nyay Sanhita, raising awareness among attendees about legal developments.
FCI CEO Dilip Batwal, who introduced the program, assured Dr. Pawar of the federation’s continued support. The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Vinod Razdan.
