Final Call to Reclaim Seized Vehicles Before Auction: Pimpri-Chinchwad RTO Issues Notice

Pimpri-Chinchwad, 29th May 2025: The Pimpri-Chinchwad Regional Transport Office (RTO) has issued a final notice to vehicle owners whose vehicles were impounded due to motor vehicle law violations, primarily for non-payment of road taxes. The RTO has announced that 49 such vehicles will be auctioned if not claimed by the owners, drivers, or financiers by June 9, 2025.
The public auction is scheduled to take place on Thursday, June 12, 2025, between 12 noon and 4 PM. To avoid auction, vehicle owners are urged to settle all pending dues, including compromise fees, motor vehicle tax, and environmental tax, before the deadline.
Inspection and Vehicle Locations
The seized vehicles are currently available for inspection at the following locations from May 26 to June 10:
Pimpri-Chinchwad RTO premises, Sant Nagar, Moshi Pradhikaran
Talegaon ST Depot
Vallabhnagar ST Depot
Rajgurunagar (Khed) ST Depot
A complete list of vehicles set for auction is displayed on the notice boards at the RTO Pimpri-Chinchwad, as well as Talegaon and Rajgurunagar ST depots.

“This is the final opportunity for vehicle owners to recover their vehicles. After June 9, we will proceed with the auction as per regulations,” said Rahul Jadhav, Deputy Regional Transport Officer.
This move is part of an ongoing drive to enforce compliance with the Motor Vehicles Act and recover long-pending government dues.
