Finolex Industries Limited and Mukul Madhav Foundation bag two prestigious awards for CSR practices
6th December, 2018: Finolex Industries Limited (FIL), India’s leading manufacturer of PVC Pipes and Fittings in collaboration with it’s CSR Partner , Mukul Madhav Foundation, recently bagged two prestigious awards, ‘Best CSR practices in Speciality Healthcare’ at the Indywood CSR Excellence Awards 2018 and ‘Best Water Conservation and Watershed Projects’ at the Gujarat CSR Excellence Award-2018. Finolex Industries Limited was awarded for its commendable community service initiatives successfully carried by the company since its inception. The Gujarat CSR Excellence Award-2018 was received by Mr. Nitul Barot, Senior CSR Officer – Finolex Industries Limited and the Indywood CSR Excellence Award by Mr. Anurag Deepankar, Asst Manager, Marketing Communications – Finolex Industries Limited.
The Indywood CSR Excellence Awards 2018 was successfully organised at Hitex Exhibition Centre, Hyderabad on 3rd December 2018 as a part of Project Indywood, a US $10 Billion Project to be initiated by a consortium of 2000 Indian corporate and Multi-Millionaires. Finolex Industries Limited received this award by Ms. Valeria V. Kolesnik, Head of Russian Cultural Ministry of Cinematography. The award ceremony was organised to recognize and facilitate efforts made by hospitality industry professionals and organizations towards the development of their sector.
In another event organized in Ahmedabad – Gujarat, Finolex Industries Limited and Mukul Madhav Foundation were awarded the Best Water Conservation and Watershed Projects at the CSR Excellence Award 2018 held during Gujarat CSR Summit 2018. The Award was presented by Shri Dharmendra Pradhan (Hon. Cabinet Minister of Petroleum and Natural Gas; Minister of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship) & Shri Ganpatbhai Vasava (Hon. Minister of Tribal Development, Tourism, Forest, Women & Child Welfare). The water projects by Finolex Industries Limited and Mukul Madhav Foundation were appreciated by Shri Dharmendra Pradhan stating the need for water conservation in the times to come. The award summit was also honoured by presence of the Members of Parliament, MLAs, Mayor, District Collectors and Government Officials.
