Fire burns Sunburn festival stage

Pune –  A major fire on Monday damaged the stage of Sunburn festival in Kesnand. The festival has already got over.

Fire Brigade officials said that some materials made of thermocol were also destroyed.

The tenth Sunburn festival was held here after the Goa government banned it.

Karan Singh, CEO, Sunburn “At the time of the reported incident, there were no casualties of any kind. Safety has always been a top priority at Sunburn so all the necessary precautions have been taken to bring the situation under control in immediately. The fire reported was localized at only one point and there has been no damage to any public or private property in any manner whatsoever. We only proceeded to resume dismantling at the venue after we had established that the venue was completely safe for the same. We have been successful in ensuring a safe and secure Sunburn 10 at our brand new abode.”
