Fire Incident at Dhayari Phata’s Om Palace Successfully Contained by Pune Fire Brigade
Dhayari, 7th February 2024: A prompt response from the Pune Fire Brigade averted a major disaster as they swiftly tackled a fire that broke out on the first floor of Om Palace at Dhayari Phata this morning.
The incident, reported at 09:27 AM, triggered an immediate dispatch of a fire engine from the Navle Fire Station to the scene. Upon arrival, the brigade discovered a fire engulfing the first floor of the three-story building known as Om Palace. Quick action was taken to secure the area by obtaining the key from an individual present at the location.
Despite encountering thick smoke, the firefighters entered the premises, ensuring no one was trapped inside. Within ten minutes, the fire was successfully brought under control, averting further danger and preventing its spread to other areas. No injuries were reported at the scene.

The affected establishment on the first floor, housing the Srishti Designer office, suffered significant losses. Computers, printers, wooden furniture, electrical appliances, and various materials were entirely consumed by the flames. Preliminary investigations suggest that the fire may have originated from an electrical short circuit.
The successful firefighting operation was carried out by driver Naresh Pangare and Tandel Nilesh Pokle, along with the efforts of firemen Ajit Shinde, Vikram Machchindra, and Digvijay Nalavde.
