Fire Incidents Continue to Plague Electric Scooters in Pune: Second Blaze in 15 Days
Pune, 8th November 2023: In a concerning sequence of events, the streets of Pune have witnessed yet another electric scooter fire, marking the third incident in Pune. The most recent occurrence unfolded this afternoon near Garware College, intensifying concerns surrounding the safety of electric vehicles.
The first alarming incident was recorded in March 2022 on Porwal Road, Lohegaon. The second incident sent shockwaves through the community on the 28th of October, 2023, at around 8:40 am near the D Y Patil Institute in Pimpri Chinchwad.
