Fire Reported In Five Coaches Of Ashti-Ahmednagar DEMU Train, No Casualties Reported

Ahmednagar 16th Oct 20232: A major fire was reported in five coaches of Ashti-Ahmednagar DEMU train earlier today causing concerns as the rescue teams were immediately rushed for help. The fire incident was reported at around 3 pm between Narayndoh and Ahmednagar railway station.

According to railway officials, the fire was reported in five coaches including a guard-side break van and four adjacent coaches to it. A total of four fire brigade vehicles were immediately rushed to the spot and the Accident Relief Train (ART) was also dispatched immediately to the incident site.

The Central Railway officials confirmed that all the passengers travelling in the train were deboarded safely and no injuries or casualty was reported in the incident. The firefighting vehicles doused the fire at around 4:10 pm and the situation was brought under control.
