Pune: Drunk Excise Officer Allegedly Assaults Hotel Manager And Waiter After Denied Liquor, Video Goes Viral
Pune 16th Oct 2023: A video of a person claimed to be the state excise department officer has gone viral on social media platforms in which he is spotted assaulting a hotel staff for refusing to give him liquor. According to reports, the incident took place at Drama 9 in the city recently.
The excise officer who was already drunk was demanding more liquor from the hotel staff despite knowing that the hotel was closed due to time restrictions at night. As the hotel staff refused to give him liquor, he created chaos and started assaulting a hotel waiter and manager over the issue. The whole incident was captured in a CCTV camera installed inside the hotel and the video has gone viral on the social media platforms.
The local police have no information about the incident and they are trying to gather more details on it. The officer is said to be Vikas Abne of the state excise department.
