Foreign Minister S Jaishankar and Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi agreed that both sides should seek guidance from a series of consensus of leaders to develop India-China relations. Also, differences should not be allowed to become a controversy. The Chinese Foreign Ministry said that both sides had reached a five-point consensus about the current situation after much intense discussion. After the meeting, the Chinese Foreign Ministry said, China and India are two neighbouring countries and it is very natural that China and India have disagreements on some issues, but the important thing here is to see those disagreements in the right perspective.
