Foundation Stone Laid For Regional Office Building In Pune
Pune, 1st November 2022: 1st November is celebrated as Foundation Day of Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation, Ministry of Labour, Government of India. On this day, the foundation stone laying ceremony for the Regional Office Building of Pune was also done. Bhupender Yadav, Union Minister of Labour and Employment, Government of India, laid the foundation stone online/virtually from New Delhi. The Physical Bhumi Pujan was done at survey number 159/A, HAL campus, Pimpri-Nehru Nagar Road by chief guest Mahesh Landge, MLA, Bhosari.
Mahesh Landge appreciated the services rendered by EPFO in social security benefits such as PF, pension and insurance and encouraged EPFO staff to continue the service for the benefit of the working class of the nearby industrial areas.
EPFO acquired land of 3.5 acres from Hindustan Antibiotics Limited for the construction of the office building and residential quarters.
Prabhakar Banasure, Member of the Central Board of Trustees, EPFO, also congratulate the officers and staff.M S K V V Satyanarayana, Additional Central PF Commissioner, Pune Zone, presided over the function. Amit Vashit, Regional PF Commissioner Pune (Golibar Maidan), K Ravindra Kumar, Regional PF Commissioner Pune (Akurdi), Manoj Mane, Regional PF Commissioner-II, Aditya Talware, Regional PF Commissioner-II Akurdi Office, and Dinesh Shelar, Secretary, EPF Staff Union, Akurdi, also participated in the program.
