Four Sinhagad Institute students invents a blood donation application

Now find your blood group twin a tap away

We all have faced accidents atleast once in our life. There are so many people who need blood donors every day. And this vast spread city with all the traffic jams, it becomes hard to find it at the right time.

Well, four students of Sinhagad Institute have invented an application where you can find blood donors, available blood banks and all the information you need just a tap away. Rajkumar Patil, Chinmayee Yeragi, Piyush Shah, Mrunal Tilekar are the students of B.E. Computer fourth year. They were also guided by their professors Poonamkumar Hanvate and Dhananjay Gayakwad.

The ‘Blood request management system’ is an android application which provides you with all the information of available blood donors, receivers in need, blood banks. The application will also notify you the nearest blood bank in the parameter of 25 kilometers. It would also notify you about the recent blood donation camps plus some informative tips on blood donation.

This application is very easy to use, you need to login into the app. The users would get a one time password (OTP) to login. This OTP will also help you keep your request and information safe. Plus you can track your order through GPS.

The application was unveiled on June 14, 2018, on the eve of ‘World Blood Donation Day’ by the chairperson of Raktache Naate Trust, Mr. Ram Babngad.
