Free SSB Training Course for Defence Aspirants in Nashik from September 22

Pune, 29th August 2025: Eligible candidates aspiring to join the Indian Army, Navy, and Air Force as officers will get an opportunity to prepare for the Services Selection Board (SSB) examination at a free training program in Nashik.

SSB Course No. 62 will be conducted at the Pre Cadet Training Centre, Nashik Road, from September 22 to October 1, 2025. The course will provide free training, accommodation, and food to all selected participants.

Interested candidates from the district have been asked to appear for an interview at the District Soldier Welfare Office by September 17. While attending the interview, they must carry the admit card for SSB-62, which can be downloaded from the Soldier Welfare Department website www.mahasainik.maharashtra.gov.in, or collected from the concerned District Soldier Welfare Office. Three copies of the admit card along with attached annexures must be submitted.

To be eligible for this training program, candidates must meet one of the following criteria:
Have cleared the Combined Defence Services (CDS) Examination or the National Defence Academy (NDA) Examination and qualified for the SSB interview.
Hold an NCC ‘C’ Certificate with an ‘A’ or ‘B’ grade and a recommendation for SSB from the NCC Group Headquarters.
Possess a call letter for the Technical Graduate Course (TGC) SSB interview.
Have an SSB call letter or name listed under the University Admission System.

Candidates are also required to carry original qualification certificates while reporting for the training.
