From Today Complete Shutdown in Khadki, 4 New COVID Patients Detected

Khadki (Pune), May 12, 2020: Four new COVID19 patients were reported in Khadki cantonment area yesterday taking the total tally to 27 patients. Out of the total, 19 patients have been cured and discharged from hospitals, while two have died and six are still undergoing treatment.

According to Khadki Cantonment Board (KCB) officials, 4 out of 6 contacts of Duncan Road patient have found COVID positive. Now Mohalla clinics have been started in Ward no. 2 and Ward no. 3. There are total nine such clinics where all the residents of that area will be tested. Private doctors have been engaged with the help of elected members.

Also, Mohalla clinics will be extended in Ward no. 1 and 7 in the second phase. From today, there is complete lockdown for 3 days ie May 12th to 14th in Khadki. Only milk supply from 6 am to 10 am is allowed while other essential commodities shops (vegetable, grocery etc) will remain closed. Also, ATM, petrol pump and medical stores have been allowed to open.
