FYJC Final General Merit List to be Released Tomorrow; Objection Resolution Underway

Pune, 10th June 2025: The final general merit list for First Year Junior College (FYJC) admissions will be published on Wednesday, June 11, as per the schedule released by the Maharashtra State Education Department. The list will be followed by the zero round of admissions from June 12 to 14, while the first Centralised Admission Process (CAP) round based on this list will be conducted on June 17.

This year, the FYJC admissions across Maharashtra are being conducted entirely through an online system. The provisional general merit list was announced on June 5, and students were given time till Monday (June 10) to submit their objections. The office of the Deputy Director of Education is currently resolving those objections, with a final decision expected within the next two days.

Key Dates and Admission Phases:
June 11: Final General Merit List release

June 11: Allocation for Management, In-house, and Minority Quotas (Zero Round)

June 12–14: Zero Round admission period

June 17: Start of first CAP round based on final merit list

June 26: Declaration of college-wise allotment list and cut-offs for CAP Round 1

June 27 – July 3: Admission period for CAP Round 1 – Confirmation, Rejection, or Cancellation of Admission

July 5: Declaration of vacant seats for CAP Round 2

The department also confirmed that a monitoring committee at the divisional level will oversee the allocation process. Students will be able to view their allotted colleges through their login portals, while junior colleges will receive lists of admitted students.

The education department urges all students and parents to stay updated through the official FYJC admission portal and adhere strictly to the provided timeline.
