NCC Cadet Rishika Kadam Felicitated for Winning Gold at Indo-Nepal Youth Games 2025

Mumbai, 10th June 2025: Cadet Rishika Ramesh Kadam of the 6 Maharashtra Battalion NCC, representing B. K. Birla College, Kalyan, was felicitated by the NCC Maharashtra Directorate for her outstanding achievement in securing a Gold Medal for India at the 2nd Indo-Nepal Youth Games 2025 held in Kathmandu, Nepal, from May 28 to June 1.

The felicitation ceremony took place at the NCC Maharashtra Directorate Headquarters, where Maj Gen Yogender Singh, Additional Director General (ADG) of NCC Maharashtra Directorate, personally honoured Cadet Rishika for her excellence in Yogasana, performed in the 16-20 years age group category.

Cadet Rishika displayed exceptional skill, balance, and discipline in a highly competitive environment featuring over 40 participants from nine countries, including India, Nepal, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Myanmar, Sri Lanka, Vietnam, Thailand, and Indonesia.

The event also witnessed the presence of Rishika’s proud parents, along with senior NCC officers and staff who applauded her dedication and performance on an international platform. Her achievement not only brought pride to the Maharashtra Directorate but also stood as a shining example of the calibre of India’s young NCC cadets on the global stage.
