New Delhi, March 1, 2021: Elon Musk’s satellite-based internet service Starlink is coming to India. The company has started pre-booking in India of the extremely fast internet service. Starlink service is operated by SpaceX, an aerospace company. SpaceX was founded in 2002 and its founder was Elon Musk, who owns the US-based Tesla. According to the information recorded on the website, Starlink can be launched in India around any time in the year 2022. However, the exact date of its launch has not been revealed. Users can pre-book their connection on Starlink’s website.

According to Business Insider report, Starlink’s fast internet connection will be available in India in cities like Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Hyderabad and Bangalore. However, its exact information is not available yet. However, by submitting your address on the website, you can find out whether Starlink will provide an internet facility in your area. Post which you will be able to book the internet connection. Elon Musk’s Starlink project will get a maximum speed of 50 to 150Mbps. Also, the speed will increase to 300Mbps by the end of 2021.

Starlink has started pre-booking of internet connection in Indian areas. For this, the company is initially charging $ 99 (about Rs 7,300). This payment is applicable for the installation of Starlink when made available. Your location will be reserved after payment. This payment will be fully refundable. Hence, if you later decide not to get an internet connection, then all your money will be refunded. This payment can be made with the use of debit card, credit card and Apple Pay. However, Apple Pay is currently unavailable in India.
