GHRCEM Pune Students won first-place with 1.5 lakh cash prize at TechFest IIT Bombay Pulse 2.0
Pune, 2nd January 2025: G H Raisoni College of Engineering and Management (GHRCEM), Pune’s SY CSE AI-ML Department students secured the First Place in the Pulse 2.0 competition at TechFest IIT Bombay. The team, comprising Ayush Yadav (Team Lead), Maitri Dalvi, Akarsh Jain, and Ojasvi Doye, brought laurels to the institution by tackling the problem statement: “Streamline and Integrate Generative AI in the Indian Language System.” Their innovative solution showcased remarkable technical skills, creativity, and a deep understanding of AI, earning them the top honor and a cash prize of ₹1,50,000.
Mr. Ananya Birla, Director of the Aditya Birla Group, was the student mentor at the event, whose guidance played a pivotal role in the team’s success. Dr. Swapnil Mahajan, Head of the Eureka Centre, Dr. Rachana Sable, Head of the AI & AI-ML Department, were the college mentors.
