Give Details of Fees Collected From Students in Last 10 Years: Directorate of Higher Education to Universities

Pune, August 22, 2020: Director of Higher Education Dr Dhanraj Mane has issued an order to all the Universities about fee collection from the students in the past 10 years. The joint directors of all divisions have been asked to collect the information from registrars of the universities.

The total number of colleges in the rural, urban and tribal areas are-
1. Government colleges– A total of 28 government colleges are there in the district. There is no government college in tribal areas, only three colleges in rural areas and 25 are in urban areas.
2. Unaided Colleges– A total of 1,936 unaided colleges are there out of which 823 are in urban areas, 1015 are present in the rural areas and 98 are in tribal areas.
3. Aided Colleges– There are 1177 aided colleges out of which 534 are present in the urban areas, 588 in rural areas and 55 colleges in tribal areas.

Total count of colleges is 3141 out of which 1382 are in urban areas, 1606 are in rural areas and 153 colleges are present in tribal areas.
