Godrej Security Systems targets 30% revenue growth from Pune this year
Pune, 6th October 2017: With an aim to increase the adoption rate of security solutions and build a safer country where citizens can confidently say ‘I Am Secure’, Godrej Security Solutions (GSS), India’s renowned security solutions provider and part of the 120 years old Godrej Group, launched a slew of innovative home security solutions- Wifi enabled EVE Series and SEE THRU PRO Video Door Phones for the Pune market.
Godrej Security Solutions has gained approximately 85 per cent market share in home safes segment. The security solutions products that have gained popularity in the Pune market are Matrix, Presidio, Safire and Ritz.

Ltd., said, “We have received a good response from the Pune market and we aim to achieve revenue growth of 30% in the coming fiscal. The market has seen an increasing demand for electronic safes due to the expanding hospitality segment. We plan to expand our reach by tying up with new retailers who will be displaying the entire range of Godrej Security Solutions products.Additionally, we will also increase our distribution coverage in Nashik, Aurangabad, Kolhapur and Goa.”
Godrej Security Solutions also launched its latest consumer survey report on the ‘Consumer Attitude towards Home Security’ which reveals that only about 34 per cent of women take security measures while travelling. The security measures taken by 28% of women while travelling include informing their relatives, while only 9% of women use security applications on their mobile phone while some others depended on police helpline. Only a miniscule 2% of women depended on pepper spray for their security.
Over the years, the demand for homesecurity products has been on the rise dueto increasing awareness creation programmes by the brand amongconsumers regarding the importance security products. Godrej has launched awide range of new innovative productsbased on consumer insights making thecategory increasingly relevant, convenientand affordable for consumers of all agesand backgrounds.
As part of its constant endeavour toempower the nation to take charge of theirown security, Godrej Security Solutions, successfully kick started the multi-city consumer awareness campaign in Mumbai, New Delhi, Hyderabad, Kochi, Jaipur, Udaipur and Chandigarh. The campaign will be organised in Chennai and Kolkata later this month. The objectiveof this campaign is to create awarenessamong consumers to be more proactiveand take charge of their own security,educate them about the various solutionsand also educate them about theimportance of learning self-defense forleading a safer and secure life. This willbe followed by on-ground activations thatwill be organised across key cities. Thecompany is also engaging with theirdistributors through educativeprogrammes.
