Pune, June 8, 2020: The number of COVID-19 patients in some parts of the city has spiked, but the number where patients were initially found have been decreased significantly. Although there were 29 hotspots of Corona patients in the Pimpri Chinchwad city,15 of these places were sealed as “cluster containment” zones. However, patients in these areas have now recovered.

Consequently, these 15 places are now out of the “cluster containment zone.” Some parts of the area will be in containment zones, considering the number of affected patients; 15 areas including Kharalwadi, were sealed. Therefore, the previous order of  “Cluster Containment Zone” has been withdrawn as per the instructions of Commissioner Shravan Hardikar.
