Grape Festival To Be Organized Between February 19 to 21 At Junnar

Junnar, February 1, 2021: The Directorate of Tourism will organize the Grape Festival on Shiv Jayanti’s occasion, where citizens can visit the garden and savor the grapes.  The festival will be organized from February 19 to 21 and accommodation has also been arranged for the tourists.

While the Corona has caused difficulties in the tourism business, the festival has been organized to boost tourism.

Supriya Karmarkar-Datar, Deputy Director, Directorate of Tourism, said, “The festival is being held in collaboration with the grape growers. The process of winemaking will also be demonstrated. The stalls of women’s self-help groups will be arranged, and tourists can buy local food and items.”

Tourists coming to the festival will get accommodation at cheap rates.  Maharashtra Tourism Development Corporation’s resorts at Malshej and local hotels will provide tourists accommodation at discounted rates. Multiple programs will be organized on this occasion.
