Hadapsar Railway Station To Be Developed As Satelite Terminal Of Pune, Railways To Spend Rs 130 Crore

Pune 15th Sept 2023: The railway authorities in Pune are developing Hadapsar Railway station as a satelite terminal for which a total of Rs 130 crore are being spent. According to officials, around 30% of the physical work of the station is already completed.

The railway officials said that the railway station will improve the amenities for the passengers in Pune.

Highlights of the project :

A) Scope of work-
-Extention of UP & DN platforms for 600 meters
-Existing UP Goods line to be converted into UP&DN Common passenger coaching line
-Provision of one additional goods line on UP side
-Construction of new station building
-Provisions of circulating area, parking
-Water supply tank arrangements

B) Completed works-
-Extention of Platform no. 1/2/3 upto 24 coach length has been completed
-Passenger amenities of 11.69 crores under progress with proposed facilities such as-
-General waiting hall
-Executive lounge
-Booking office 5 counters
-Enquiry counters
-800 meter long cover shed over platforms
-Watering arrangements
-Public announcement system
-3 Retiring rooms for passengers
-TTE office & rest room
-Luggage office & Clock room & Parcel office
-RPF office, GRP office
-Reservation counters
-Electric substation building
-Coolie room
-Circulating area, parking
-Road widening
-Dismantling of existing quarters and old station building.
