Hat-tricks by Zephaniah Menezes, Nishith Hegde highlight PDFA Super Division League matches
Pune, 16th March 2026: Exciting encounters were witnessed in the ongoing Pune District Football Association (PDFA) Super Division League 2026, organized by the Pune District Football Association and played at the Hotfut Bavdhan Football Ground.
New India Soccer Club registered an emphatic 5–1 victory over Diego Junior FC with Zephaniah Menezes scoring a brilliant hat-trick in the 4th, 6th and 29th minutes, while Kartik Bhandare added another in the 39th minute. Allan Binoy scored the lone goal for Diego Junior FC in the 43rd minute.
In another match, Real Pune United FC edged past Chetak FC 1–0 with Yash Gatkal scoring the decisive goal in the 27th minute.
Fatima XI also recorded a convincing 5–0 win against Phoenix Sports Academy. The goals were scored by Justin Arland (2nd min), Yazad Aga (10th min), Aryan Chowdhari (22nd min), Ayaan Khan (39th min) and Akshay Patil (45th min).
In the final match of the day, Rangehills Young Boys FC dominated Deccan XI with a 5–0 victory. Nishith Hegde scored a hat-trick in the 3rd, 9th and 24th minutes, while Shritej Ingale (23rd min) and Tanish Dadlani (50th min) added one goal each to seal the comprehensive win.
