The ‘Heritage Walk’ initiative happened to be an irregular event due to the corona pandemic. It resumed today on the occasion of Savitribai Phule’s Memorial Day. The Heritage Walk started from Datto Vaman Potdar Sankul around 11.30 AM in the presence of the SPPU Vice-Chancellor Dr Nitin Karmalkar, Pro-Vice-Chancellor Dr NS Umrani, and Registrar Dr Prafulla Pawar.

At this time, Vice-Chancellor Nitin Karmalkar informed about the establishment of the university. He also assured that this legacy will be cherished by the university in the future as well.

He also announced that the Heritage Walk will be held twice a month for the citizens at a fixed time and the information regarding this will be announced on the University’s website as well as through a press release.
