Home Minister Amit Shah To Visit Pune On Sunday, Will Attend Programs At PMC Building
Pune, 15th December 2021: Union Home Minister Amit Shah will be visiting Pune on Sunday (December 19) for the groundbreaking ceremony of the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj memorial. He will also unveil the statue of Babasaheb Dr Bhimrao Ambedkar, informed Pune Mayor Murlidhar Mohol.
A memorial of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj is being built on the green lawns of Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC), while a statue of Bharat Ratna Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar is being erected near the entrance of the new building. Both these programs will be attended by Home Minister Amit Shah on Sunday at 3 pm.
Giving information about this, Mayor Mohol said, “Union Social Justice Minister Ramdas Athavale, Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar, Leader of Opposition Devendra Fadnavis, BJP State President Chandrakant Patil will be present at both the events and Home Minister Shah himself being present is a very exciting feeling.”
Shah will also attend a program at the Vaikunth Mehta National Institute of Cooperative Management (VAMNICOM) which is a premier management institute for the cooperative sector.
