Pune, 18th January 2022: Twitter has started recording Twitter Space for Android and iOS users. So that the conversation can continue after the Twitter space is over. Also, the user should not miss the space of his choice.
Simply put, the user will be able to listen to the space of their choice whenever they have the time. Users can playback recorded spaces by clicking the ‘Play Recording’ button on any space card in the timeline, which will be available for public playback for 30 days after the space expires.
How to record a Space?
Click on the + icon at the bottom of Twitter. Where you will see many options.
The user has to click on the Spaces option from it.
After this the Create Your Space window will open.
Where you have to select the name of the space and the category. Below this, the option of Record Space will appear.
Space can be recorded by opening the Record Space option.
After this, the space can be made live. Also, the space can be scheduled for a fixed time.
How to share Space?
A logo will appear at the top while recording, indicating that space is being recorded.
Spaces recording will only have the rights of the speaker.
Once the recorded space is exhausted, the host will see a link to share the space recording via a tweet.
Before sharing, the host will have the option to select where it will start with an ‘edit start time’ by which they can cut dead air time, which can occur at the start of the space.
To playback a Spaces recording, click the ‘Play Recording’ button on any Spaces card in your timeline.
Hosts will be able to download space to the ‘data’ folder of their data downloads.
They can also ‘delete recording’ from recorded spaces at any time.
