Hyundai Creta Facelift 2024: Sleek Upgrades, Enhanced Features Unveiled

28th December 2023: Hyundai Motor is gearing up to introduce the new generation Creta facelift in the Indian market, and test images of the SUV are continuously surfacing. The anticipated unveiling is set for January 16, 2024. Renowned as the top-selling SUV in the compact SUV segment, the Hyundai Creta faces competition from vehicles like the Kia Seltos, Maruti Grand Vitara, and Honda Elevate in the Indian market.

In the latest spy image of the Hyundai Creta facelift, notable features include an all-new digital color instrument cluster, reminiscent of the design seen in the Hyundai Alcazar. Additionally, the image reveals the presence of a dash cam camera, recording both front and rear perspectives, a feature now offered across Hyundai vehicles. The spy image also showcases a new steering wheel, with more details expected to emerge closer to the launch date.

The upcoming Hyundai Creta is poised to undergo significant exterior transformations, including a new LED grille, split headlamps, revised front and rear bumpers, fresh alloy wheels, and a distinctive H-shaped LED tail light unit. The design aims to present a more sporty and commanding road presence compared to its predecessor.

Beyond exterior changes, substantial updates are anticipated within the cabin, featuring a redesigned central console and dashboard layout, complemented by premium leather seats. The interior is designed for enhanced comfort, with soft-touch elements in various areas. Noteworthy features include a digital instrument cluster, a large touchscreen infotainment system supporting Apple CarPlay with wireless Android Auto, panoramic sunroof, ventilated front seats, ambient lighting, wireless mobile charging, and a robust music system.

The safety features of the new Creta include Level 2 ADAS technology, encompassing lane departure warning, lane return alert, adaptive cruise control, automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, cross-traffic alert, driver warning alert, six airbags, electronic stability control, tire pressure monitoring, hill hold assist, 360-degree camera, and reverse parking sensors.

The powertrain options under consideration for the Creta facelift include a 1.5-liter naturally aspirated petrol engine, a 1.5-liter turbo petrol engine, and a 1.5-liter diesel engine. Transmission choices range from 6-speed manual to 6-speed automatic, CVT, iMT, and 7-speed DCT gearboxes.

The estimated ex-showroom price for the Hyundai Creta Facelift 2024 is expected to fall within the range of Rs 11 lakh to Rs 18 lakh in the Indian market. It will face competition from models like the Kia Seltos facelift, Honda Elevate, Toyota Hyrider, Volkswagen Taigun, Skoda Kushaq, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, and MG Astor.
