Important Update: UGC NET Result 2023 Declared by NTA, Scores Available Now
New Delhi, 19th January 2024: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially announced the results of the University Grants Commission (UGC) National Eligibility Test (NET) December 2023. The UGC NET Result 2023 was declared on Thursday, January 18, bringing an end to the anticipation of the lakhs of candidates who appeared for the examination held from December 6 to December 19, 2023.
Candidates can now access their UGC NET December 2023 results by visiting the official examination portal ugcnet.nta.ac.in, where the result link has been activated. To view their scores, candidates are required to log in using their application number and date of birth.
Steps to Download UGC NET Result 2023 Score Card
Candidates who participated in the UGC NET December 2023 examination can follow these steps to download their scorecard:
1. Visit the official examination portal: ugcnet.nta.ac.in
2. Find and click on the activated UGC NET Result 2023 link.
3. Login using your application number and date of birth.
4. View and download your UGC NET December 2023 scorecard.
It’s important to note that the UGC NET Result and Score Card have been released by NTA, but the certificates for successful candidates will be issued later. The UGC NET Bureau will be responsible for issuing these certificates, which candidates can download from the Bureau’s official website, ugcnetonline. in.
The announcement of the UGC NET Result was initially scheduled for January 10, and then subsequently on January 17. However, the release was delayed on both occasions, first due to the re-conduct of an examination cancelled due to a natural disaster and later due to technical reasons.
Successful candidates, upon receiving their UGC NET Certificate, will be eligible to apply for Assistant Professor or Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) recruitment opportunities.
