In government jobs, Four percent Reservation for Divyang (Differently-abled)

Dilip Kamble informed that the decision has been taken by the state government on the issue of providing 4% reservation benefits to Divyang (Differently-abled) in the government jobs. The central government has raised the reservation four percent under Right of Persons with Disabilities Rules- 2018. In the light of the central government’s Rules, the state government on yesterday (Wednesday, 29th May 2019) has issued a Government Resolution (GR). This decision will give a one percent increase in the government jobs to those people, who have different types of disability such as blind / hypersensitivity, osteopathy, brain paralysis, leprosy, problem in physical growth, acid attack, muscle disorders, self-mortality, dementia, mental illness.

Mr. Kamble further said that a person, who is wishing to take advantage this provision, Divyang should submit a certificate of competent authority. The maximum age limit for the candidate is fixed at 45 years. It has been decided that every government office should also maintain a 100-point credentials register for the post of a person who has been nominated for the service of the Divya Personnel for each class on their establishment. If the department does not get a Divya candidate in the year, then the post should be filled in the next year’s job recruitment. The decision has been made for the same.
