INAUGRAL FUNCTION OF 26TH FREE PLASTIC SURGERY CAMP

Date : 11th Jan 2018 : Dr. Sharadkumar Dixit’s work is the guiding light and source of great inspiration for all those in India who want to serve the poorest of the poor and fulfill their social responsibility. This view was expressed by Shree Shivaji Kachare, Additional Charity Commissioner, at the inauguration of the 26th Free Plastic Surgery Camp jointly organized by the Sancheti Hospital, Bharatiya Jain Sanghatana and Chandmal Munot (Newaskar) Trust. Padmabhushan Dr. K. H. Sancheti, Founder, Sancheti Hospital, Shri Prafulla Parakh, National President, Bharatiya Jain Sanghatana, Vijay Nayar, Ajaykumar, Hastimalji Munot, Dr. Larry Weinstein, Dr. Barry Citron, Dr. Whitney Pafford, Dr. Daniel Hakakian and Dr. Wheaton were present on the dais on this occasion.
While speaking on this occasion, Dr. Shivaji Kachare said that by conducting free Plastic Surgery Camps, Dr. Dixit has generated great strength in young children and patients suffering from cleft lips and deviated lips to live in the society with self-confidence. The same cultural heritage is being taken forward successfully by Sancheti Hospital, Bharatiya Jain Sanghatana and Chandmal Munot (Newaskar) Trust. Today, in this camp, 1492 patients who came from various districts of Maharashtra were checked. The dignitaries were introduced by Dr. Parag Sancheti. Dr. K. H. Sancheti expressed his view that in order to follow human religion, service to mankind is service to God! Shri Ajay Kumar, Administrator, Airport Authority, Shri Vijay Nayar, Vice-

President, Mahindra and Mahindra and Dr. Larry Weinstein, American Plastic Surgeon expressed their views. Shri Prafulla Parakh welcomed all the honourable guests.
