Increasing Demand Leads To Augmentation Of Mumbai-Pune Sinhagad Express

Pune, 29th April 2023: Starting from May 1, 2023, the Central Railway has announced that it will be expanding the composition of the Mumbai-Pune Sinhagad Express by adding a Second Class Chair Car coach (Non-AC). This decision has been taken to meet the increasing demands of commuters traveling on this route.
The revised composition of the train will now consist of 16 coaches, with One AC Chair car, 13 Second Class seating, One Luggage cum Guard’s Brake Vans, and One Generator Car. The passengers who have waitlisted tickets are advised to confirm their booking status before embarking on their journey.
Central Railway has reminded all passengers to comply with Covid-appropriate behavior during their travel to ensure their own safety as well as the safety of others. By augmenting the Mumbai-Pune Sinhagad Express with a Second Class Chair Car coach, the Central Railway aims to provide a comfortable and secure journey for all its passengers.
