India Coronavirus : 78,357 New Coronavirus Cases, 1045 died in last 24 hrs
New Delhi, 2 Sep, 2020: Coronavirus cases are increasing rapidly in India. The total number of cases in the country has reached to more than 3,769,523 lakhs and more than 66 thousand people have died. According to the latest data released by the Ministry of Health, in the last 24 hours, more than 78 thousand cases of corona have been reported and 1045 people have died. The total recoveries have jumped to 2,901,908 with recovery of 62,026 patients in the last 24 hours.
According to the Union Health Ministry, the number of Coronavirus positive patients has reached 3,769,523 across the country. Out of this, 2,901,908 have been cured and discharged from hospitals while 66,333 people have died and one patient has migrated out of the country. There are still 801,282 active patients undergoing treatment in hospitals across the country.
Highest cases in Maharashtra
Maharashtra has reported the highest number of coronavirus cases in the country.Across Maharashtra, 10,978 people got discharged from hospitals while 15,765 new cases and 320 deaths were reported yesterday. The total number of COVID cases has reached 8,08,306 out of which 5,84,537 people have recovered and 24903 have died. There are 1,98,523 active cases.
