India Post Launches Special Insurance Campaign on 9th and 10th January in Pune Region

Pune, 8th January 2025: The Pune Postal Region of the Department of Posts is bringing a unique opportunity to ensure the safety and security of citizens and their families through its special insurance campaign scheduled on January 9 and 10. Organized in collaboration with India Post Payments Bank (IPPB) and leading insurance companies, this campaign offers a range of modern and affordable insurance plans, including Group Personal Accident Policy, Vehicle Insurance, and Health Insurance, to customers aged 18 to 65 years.

The insurance plans provide extensive coverage, including a benefit of up to ₹10 lakh in case of accidental death, total disability, or permanent partial disability. The campaign is being held for residents across Pune, Satara, Solapur, and Ahmednagar districts.

Postmaster General of Pune Region, Ramchandra Jaybhaye, emphasized the importance of insurance in today’s fast-paced life. “Our aim is to ensure the safety of citizens, whether they are from rural or urban areas. These secure and reliable schemes offer affordable solutions to protect your family, safeguard your vehicle, and ensure health security—all under one roof at the Department of Posts,” he said.

Encouraging citizens to make the most of the campaign, Jaybhaye stated, “We are conducting this special insurance drive at all Post Offices in the Pune region on January 9 and 10. I urge everyone to take advantage of these services and secure a safe future for themselves and their families.
