India Records 7,830 New Covid-19 Cases in Last 24 Hours, Highest In 2023

As of now, the Nationwide Vaccination Drive in India has administered a total of 220.66 crore vaccine doses, out of which 95.21 crore are second doses, and 22.87 crore are precaution doses. In the last 24 hours, 441 doses were given. The current active caseload in India is 40,215, which accounts for 0.09% of the total cases. The country’s recovery rate is at 98.72%, with 4,692 recoveries recorded in the last 24 hours, making the total recoveries 4,42,04,771. Additionally, there were 7,830 new cases reported in the last 24 hours, with a daily positivity rate of 3.65% and a weekly positivity rate of 3.83%. India has conducted a total of 92.32 crore tests to date, including 2,14,242 tests in the last 24 hours.
