Union Minister Shri Prasad at programme of Indore Management Association

भोपाल : Union Minister for Communications and Information Technology Shri Ravi Shankar Prasad has said that Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited is doing well commercially. He was addressing a function of Indore Management Association at Indore today. The Union Minister said that 16 lakh new customers are linking with BSNL every year. In respect of internet, India is next only to China. He informed that 95 crore persons have Aadhar Cards in the country.

Shri Prasad said that developmental activities are vital in society. The country has one crore mobiles, which are being used on a large scale.

Shri Mehta of the Association said that International Management Conclave will be held at Indore on February 5-6. Conclave’s Chairman Shri M. Mohan said that India is a unique composition of modernity and tradition.

Inspects Swachchhata Abhiyan

Union Minister Shri Prasad inspected drive to make Indore district’s Maurod Gram Panchayat open-area defection free. Shri Prasad lauded contribution of children in the drive. In the village, over 30 children blow whistles from 4 am to caution and persuade people against open-area defecation.

Shri Prasad said that children’s contribution to make the drive successful is laudable. Over 10 thousand children are paving way for sanitation in over 700 villages in Indore district. He said that he would himself become spokesman of children’s brigade and mention it on his Twitter and Facebook accounts.
