India to Host 71st Miss World 2023: Celebrating Beauty & Culture

New Delhi, 9th May 2023: India is set to host the highly anticipated Miss World beauty contest, showcasing the celebration of culture and beauty. After almost three decades, the pageant will return to India, promising an extraordinary event in November, with the exact dates yet to be confirmed.

India last hosted the international pageant in 1996, and this year’s edition is expected to surpass all expectations. The month-long event will feature participants from over 130 nations, engaging in various challenging activities such as talent shows, sporting challenges, and philanthropic endeavors.

The 2023 event will serve as a platform to showcase the richness of Indian culture, fashion, and hospitality, making it an exceptional occasion. Reigning Miss World, Karolina Bielawska from Poland, is eagerly looking forward to experiencing India’s diversity and witnessing the country’s beauty firsthand.

With an impressive track record, India has secured the prestigious Miss World title six times in the past. The previous winners include Reita Faria (1966), Aishwarya Rai (1994), Diana Hayden (1997), Yukta Mookhey (1999), Priyanka Chopra (2000), and Manushi Chillar (2017).
