Indian Air Force: AFCAT 2021 date of the online application has extended till 11 January

Pune, December 24, 2020: Indian Air Force has extended the last date for online registration for the Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT). Accordingly, now the candidates can apply online for the Air Force Common Admission Test till January 11, 2021.

Candidates have to go to the official portal https://afcat.cdac.in/AFCAT/  to apply. Candidates should note that they should apply online till the last date because after this the date of online registration will not be extended. 

As per the official notification, the IAF has brought out the additional vacancies for women candidates (non-tech branch). These vacancies have been for other categories including Admin, Logistics and Accounts. In such a situation, all the female candidates who are willing and eligible can apply till 11 January 2021. 

Apart from this, all those candidates who have already applied for the examination will be allowed to add or modify their preference of the branch from 18 January to 21 January 2021. Apart from this, the number of vacancies has been increased to 244 as per the revised information. At the same time, two seats in this vacancy are reserved for the posts of ground duty (non-technical). 

Candidates can apply for SSC and Permanent Commission (PC) in Flying Branch and PC and SSC in ground duty till January 2022. Candidates will have to pay an application fee of 250 / – as examination fee.

IAF AFCAT 2021: Selection will be done

The selection of the candidates will be done based on the written examination of AFCAT Officers Integration Rating Test and Picture Perception and Discussion Test, Psychologist Test and Group Test and Interview.
