Indian Army Inducts Mini Drones For Monitoring High Altitude Area

New Delhi, 23rd February 2022: A massive effort is underway to modernize the army in the country. The Indian Army has acquired the ‘Mini Remotely Piloted Aircraft System’. With this, it will be easy for the army personnel to monitor the areas of high altitude. Along with this, the capabilities of the army will be further developed.

This was informed by news agency ANI through Twitter stating, “As part of ongoing modernisation & induction of niche & emerging technologies at the tactical level, Indian Army maintains acquired ‘Mini Remotely Piloted Aircraft Systems’. These RPAs will further enhance the surveillance capabilities in high altitude areas: Indian Army”.

 

The arsenal of weapons is also being increased to modernize the Indian Army. Recently, India has purchased the S-400 defence system from Russia. The S-400 is an air defence system, which has the ability to prevent any type of attack through the air. It is effective in preventing the attacks of missiles, drones, rocket launchers and fighter jets of enemy countries. This defence system has been made by Russia’s Almaz Central Design Bureau. This air defence system is one of the most advanced defence equipment in the world. In the year 2018, a deal worth about 40 thousand crores was signed between India and Russia for five units of S-400.
