Indian Army Opens Online Registration for Agniveer Recruitment 2027; Applications Open Till April 1

Pune, 20th February 2026: The Indian Army has announced the commencement of online registration for the Agniveer Army Recruitment Rally (Men) for the 2027 intake under the Agnipath Scheme. The official notification inviting applications from unmarried male candidates has been published on the Army’s recruitment portal.

According to the announcement, the online application process will remain open from February 13, 2026, to April 1, 2026. Interested candidates must submit their applications through the official website www.joinindianarmy.nic.in, within the stipulated deadline.

The Common Entrance Examination (CEE), a key stage in the selection process, is tentatively scheduled to be conducted in June 2026.

Eligible male candidates domiciled in six districts under the jurisdiction of the Recruiting Office (Headquarters), Pune, can apply. These districts include:
Ahilyanagar (Ahmednagar)
Beed
Latur
Dharashiv (Osmanabad)
Pune
Solapur

Officials have advised aspiring candidates to carefully review eligibility criteria, educational qualifications, physical standards, and documentation requirements before completing the registration process.

The Agnipath Scheme offers youth an opportunity to serve in the Indian Army as Agniveers for a defined tenure, combining military training with skill development and national service.
