Pune: Weekly Hadapsar-Jhansi Superfast Specials Announced; Bookings Open from Feb 23
Hadapsar, 20th February 2026: Railways will operate eight additional weekly superfast Holi Special services between Hadapsar and Virangana Lakshmibai Jhansi to manage the expected surge in passenger demand during the festival period. The services form part of the expanded Holi special train plan, taking the total number of specials announced so far to 240.
Train no. 01923 Hadapsar–Virangana Lakshmibai Jhansi Weekly Superfast Special will depart Hadapsar at 19:10 hrs every Sunday from March 8 to March 29, 2026, and arrive at Virangana Lakshmibai Jhansi at 15:00 hrs the next day, operating four services.
In the return direction, Train no. 01924 Virangana Lakshmibai Jhansi–Hadapsar Weekly Superfast Special will depart at 19:40 hrs every Saturday from March 7 to March 28, 2026, and reach Hadapsar at 16:30 hrs the following day, also running four services.
The trains will halt at Daund Chord Line, Ahilyanagar, Kopargaon, Manmad, Bhusaval, Itarsi, Rani Kamlapati and Bina en route.
Each train will comprise one AC 2-Tier coach, three AC 3-Tier coaches, seven Sleeper Class coaches, four General Second Class coaches and two General Second Class-cum-Guard’s Brake Vans.
Reservation for train numbers 01923 will open on February 23, 2026, at all computerized reservation centres and on the IRCTC website. Unreserved coach tickets will be available through the UTS system. Passengers can also book tickets via the RailOne app and check detailed timings on the NTES platform or the official enquiry website.
