Indian Navy Begins Registration for INICET 2025 to Fill 882 Civilian Posts
New Delhi, 7th July 2025: The Indian Navy has opened online registrations for the Indian Navy Civilian Entrance Test (INICET) 2025 from July 5. The recruitment drive aims to fill 882 civilian positions across various departments. Candidates can submit their applications through the official website, joinindiannavy.gov.in, until July 18, 2025.
An application fee of ₹295 is applicable for most candidates, excluding those from the SC/ST/PwBD categories, ex-servicemen, and women applicants, who are exempt. The fee must be paid online using net banking, credit/debit cards, or UPI services.
Eligible applicants will be required to appear for a computer-based examination consisting of 100 multiple-choice questions. The test will be conducted in English and Hindi, except for the General English section, and will have a duration of 90 minutes.
The qualifying marks for the exam vary by category:
Unreserved (UR): minimum 35%
OBC/EWS: minimum 30%
All other categories: minimum 25%
