Indigo Airlines Passenger Accused of Molesting Woman At Pune Airport

Viman Nagar, 28th October 2023: An incident has surfaced at Pune Airport involving a 27-year-old woman who was allegedly molested by a fellow passenger in the queue leading to the boarding tunnel for an Indigo Airlines flight to Bangalore.

In response to the incident that transpired on October 21, a case has been registered against the accused, identified as Jinshan PL, aged 40, at the Vimantal Police Station.

The victim, whose identity is protected, had checked her boarding pass and was proceeding towards the aircraft. It was during this crucial pre-boarding phase that she experienced the alleged assault. The accused, standing behind the young woman, reportedly approached her and engaged in inappropriate physical contact.

According to the complaint filed by the 27-year-old victim, Jinshan not only touched her inappropriately but also molested her by indecently touching various parts of her body.

Police are further investigating the case.
