Indira Group of Institutes, Pune to start four new Advanced Diploma Courses for graduates

Pune, August 7, 2020: The Indira Group of Institutes, Pune has started four new Advanced Diploma programs for graduate students and those who are in their final year through its two leading institutes- Indira Institute of Management and Indira College of Commerce and Science. The courses were unveiled in an online ceremony with the theme called ‘Digital Careers 2020-21’ in presence of 3,500 participants.

As both the institutes will hold two particular diploma programs each, the Indira Institute of Management, Pune (IIMP) will conduct Advanced Diploma in Digital Marketing, which will train students in understanding the volatile market and teach practical application of digital marketing tools and techniques and Advanced Diploma in Business Analytics, which will cater to the needs of Business Analytics executives at different levels.

The other two diploma programs held under Indira College of Commerce and Science (ICCS) will include an Advanced Diploma in Cyber Security, which will provide opportunities for students to understand cyber-world with solving issues related to cyber-crime and Advanced Diploma in Forensic Accounting, which will help transform a graduate into a skilled forensic accounting professional.

Any graduate or those with a speciality in the said field will be eligible for the programs, which will be available both online as well as offline starting from September this year. Easy EMI options have been made available for the same.

Both the institutes have received the Autonomous Status and are approved by UGC/AICTE, New Delhi and are also affiliated to Savitribai Phule Pune University.

Dignitaries including Dr Tarita Shankar, Chairperson, IGI, Prof. Chetan Wakalkar, Group Director, IGI, Dr Pandit Mali, Director, Indira Institute of Management, Pune, Dr Deepak Shikarpur, IT Expert, Career Counsellor and Author of 41 books and Dr Janardan Pawar, Vice-Principal, Indira College of Commerce and Science, Pune were present during the ceremonial event.

Speaking during the event, Dr Shikarpur highlighted the need and demand of these diplomas in the current scenario and its prospects and gave an insight into each diploma, its scope, eligibility and industrial applications.

IGI was founded in 1994 under the aegis of Shree Chanakya Education Society (SCES) by Dr. Tarita Shankar along with Prof. Chetan Wakalkar.
