Indira Group of Institutes starts ‘Indira Swachhata Abhiyan’

23 January, 2018, Pune: Indira Group of Institutes (IGI) started ‘Indira Swachhata Abhiyan’ by donating a garbage van for the social cause of cleanliness in Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) area in the presence of Dr. Tarita Shankar-Chairperson, IGI and other dignitaries of IGI, Prof. Chetan Wakalkar- Group Director, Sandeep Gaikwad- HR & Admin Director, Shree Adesh Gaikwad-Executive Director(projects), Mr. Shardul- trustee Member and other officials of IGI were present.

The unveiling of the garbage van was done around 11:30 a.m. by the chief guests of this event, Mr. Dilip Gawade- Joint Commissioner, PCMC and Ms. Anjali Bhagwat- former shooting champion & Brand Ambassador for this Swachhata Abhiyan.

The van will collect and dispose garbage from National Highways (shops, service roads, fuel pumps, etc) located near to IGI Tathawade campus (2kms approx) as mentioned by Dr. Tarita Shankar.
