INIFD Annual Graduating Fashion Show – Trail Blazer 2016
15 collections showcased by over 150 students
Pune – Wednesday, February 25, 2016: Leading models scorched the ramp showcasing 15 collections by 150 students of INIFD, Pune at their Annual Graduating Fashion Show Trail Blazer 2016, in the presence of eminent judges at The Poona Club.
Inter National Institute of Fashion Design (INIFD) is India’s leading fashion and design education with collaborations from Istituto Di Moda Burgo (IMB), Milan (Italy), INIFD is a creative mix of innovative achievers, original thinkers, and industry pioneers, with more than 25 programs of study leading to the Degree & Diploma. The Institute was launched by famous designer ‘Ritu Beri’ in 1995.
Students have been recently recruited by top international brands like Tommy Hilfiger, United colors of Benetton, Wills Lifestyle, Esprit, Pantaloons, Louis Philippe, Van Heusen, J.J. Valaya House, Raymonds, Godrej and Duram. After all the hard work INIFD has successfully established itself as one of the best fashion designing school in Pune.
As the dissertation of the final year 150 students of INIFD from all the three branches of Pune came together and held its annual graduating fashion show that served as the platform to showcase the student’s talent. The evening was mesmerizing and had a blend of Indian, Western as well as Indo-western garments with different themes. The students created these with the guidance of their teachers and proudly presented them. 12 models from Mumbai wore these garments adding to the glamour quotient. The entire presentation of these clothes was neatly divided into sequences based on themes like Pinnacolada, Redefined Grace, Selfie, Mood Mystigue, Concoction, Tribute to Paris, Saga of Legends Nirbhaya and Surge DeNIMS to name a few.
These tremendous designs were supported by great choreography and relevant music. It was a feast for the senses and left a resonance. The winners of the evening were; ‘Avant Garde’ from Koregaon Park ‘Mouselina Moods’ from Kothrud and ‘Maleficent’ from Kondhwa were felicitated by the directors of INIFD Anup Sharma, Anil Shinde, Sumit Agarwal of Koregaon Park, Kondhwa, Kothrud INIFD respectively.
