Injured Militant From Reasi Clash Found Dead: Security Forces Recover Body And Weapons Cache

Jammu, India, 18th August 2023: The individual who had sustained injuries during a recent clash with security forces in the Reasi district of Jammu and Kashmir was discovered deceased on Friday.

This individual had been wounded in a firefight with security forces in the Khawas region of Reasi district on August 5. Subsequently, efforts to locate this individual were unsuccessful.

Mukesh Singh, the Additional Director General of Police for the Jammu zone, stated, “The body of the second insurgent involved in the Khawas encounter was located by the Special Operation Group (SoG) in the Dhakikot area of Reasi.”

Singh further revealed that, along with the insurgent’s remains, three grenades, multiple magazines, and 32 pistol rounds, among other items, were also discovered at the location.
