Innovation Exhibition at Savitribai Phule Pune University Celebrates Dr. A. P. J. Abdul Kalam’s Birth Anniversary
Pune, 18th October 2023: On the occasion of ‘Innovation Day 2023,’ a remarkable Science Technology Innovation Exhibition was hosted at Savitribai Phule Pune University by the Research Park Foundation, bringing together a diverse range of innovative projects and activities from students at GH Raisoni College of Engineering and Management. The exhibition commemorated the birth anniversary of the former President and celebrated scientist, Dr. A. P. J. Abdul Kalam.
This exceptional event featured a showcase of pioneering projects, including the Smart Health Monitoring System, Plasma based agricultural weed plant cutter, and the Kavach Hackathon-winning projects, all set up by GH Raisoni College of Engineering and Management.
The exhibition drew the attention of esteemed dignitaries, including Dr. Dr. Parag Kalkar, Savitribai Phule, Pro-Vice-Chancellor, Pune University, and Dr. Arvind Shaligram, CEO, Research Park Foundation, who all visited the exhibition.
Throughout the day, the event provided a platform for experts in the fields of science, technology, and business to discuss and present the latest developments in their respective domains. The exhibition aimed to make these exciting concepts in science and technology accessible to all who wished to explore and discover the advancements in these fields.

Dr. Swapnil Mahajan, Head Innovation and Incubation Project at GH Raisoni College of engineering and Management, and Dr. Asha Shendge, Associate Dean, Research and Development Department, were among the distinguished attendees who joined the students in showcasing their pioneering projects. Dr. Ravindra Kharadkar, Campus Director at G. H. Raisoni College of engineering and Management, was a source of motivation and encouragement for the participating students.
