International Diabetes Summit 2023: A game changer in India’s fight against diabetes
Pune, 1st March 2023: The Chellaram Diabetes Institute is set to hold its 7th International Diabetes Summit from March 10th to 12th, 2023, in Pune. Over 2,000 delegates, including renowned international speakers from various universities across the globe, will converge to discuss practical ways to tackle the growing menace of Diabetes and its complications.
The summit, which covers talks on managing diabetes complications, cost-effective diabetes care, new advances and the role of technology in diabetes management, is aimed at providing comprehensive knowledge about Diabetes and its complications to Indian healthcare practitioners.
The Chellaram Diabetes Institute has been at the forefront of tackling the diabetes epidemic, via clinical care, research, education, and awareness initiatives. The summit is expected to be a game changer in India’s fight against diabetes, as it will bring together leading experts from around the world to share their knowledge on diabetes care strategies, thereby effectively helping to save lives.
The summit will also feature 80 young researchers who will present free papers to win the Chellaram Foundation Diabetes Research Awards – 2023 Basic and Clinical Science Categories, which come with a prize of Rs 2,00,000 and Rs 1,00,000.
In addition to the talks and presentations, children and adolescents with Type 1 Diabetes will participate in the “Run for Diabetes” 3 km marathon, organized by the Chellaram Diabetes Institute and the Blue Circle Foundation on Sunday, March 12th.
