Investment Scam: Pune Police Register FIR Against APS Wealth Ventures Directors for Cheating Thousands of People

Pune, 20th April 2023: The Economic Offences Wing (EOW) of Pune Police Crime Branch has registered a case against APS Wealth Ventures’ directors, Avinash Arjun Rathod, and his wife Vishakha Avinash Rathod, for allegedly duping thousands of people worth crores. The couple had offered attractive returns on investments.
Based on a complaint from Dr. Jagdish Jadhav, the FIR has been registered at Chatushrungi police station. Jadhav and his family members were cheated of Rs. 1.2 crores. Until now, the police have received complaints from hundreds of people, and the amount of cheating has been estimated to be Rs. 16.31 crores, which is expected to increase.
The incident took place from 2018 until April of this year at the APS Wealth Ventures office in Baner. The accused used to offer attractive returns on investments.
EOW’s Assistant Police Inspector Shailesh Gaikwad is further investigating the case.
