Mumbai, 9th May 2023: Chasing the 200-run mark set by Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB), Mumbai Indians (MI) averaged around 10 runs per over from the first over. Therefore, Mumbai passed the challenge of 200 runs by RCB in the 17th over in the 54th match of the season at the Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai.

From Mumbai, Suryakumar Yadav scored 83 runs in 35 balls. He scored at a strike rate of 237.14 to help Mumbai win the crucial match. He was well supported by Nehal Wadhera with an unbeaten half-century of 52 runs.

RCB set 200-run a challenge for victory against Mumbai Indians. Grainne Maxwell (66) and Faf Du Plessis (65) put on a blistering 120-run partnership. Dinesh Karthik scored 30 runs off 17 balls in the slog over to take RCB close to 200 runs. From Mumbai, Jason Behrendorff bowled well and took three wickets while giving 36 runs.
